Editors note: It’s finally the end of 2021, the year that we thought would be better than 2020. We were wrong. We feel the repercussions of past choices and the current ones that leaders have put forth into our society. The pandemic has brought us a new kind of world. The “new normal” is not something we had wanted or anticipated. Even with the virus spreading throughout the world, we must remember that the Earth still revolves.
